All You Need Is Love
Everyone has people who inspire them. For some its a musician, or an actor, or even a friend. I have found inspiration in all of those people, but some of the people that influence me the most are the couples around me. Firstly, obviously, my parents. Through my years I’ve witnessed so many marriages fail, parents of my friends, my uncle and aunt and I’ve seen the destructive effects it has on families and the inter-family relationships, especially the children. My parents have been together since high school and are still going strong. Recently my friend and I found a love letter my dad wrote to my mum on their fourth month anniversary. So adorable. I can only hope to have a marriage like theirs some day. Another couple that has greatly influenced my perspective on relationships in my uncle and step-aunt. Their use of humor in every situation is refreshing. They’re always fun upbeat people to be around. Although my uncles first marriage didn’t work out, I admire the fact that he didn’t give up on love and happiness. The old couple I see every Friday at the hospital when I’m volunteering makes my heart melt. He wheels her around the hospital during visiting hours every Friday, it is clear they have been together for a very long time. There is nothing I want more than to be one of those cute old couples, and they are the epitome of cute old couples. As humans we pass our knowledge down from generation to generation. I hope that I have acquired enough knowledge from the previous generations to be successful in my relationship. Auf wiederesehen <3 ad
